Apparently, the story goes that he fell over drunk, on the metro on the way in, bashing all his face & tearing his jerkin breastplate… Look closely, it’s not make up, it’s a swollen man in actual traumatic shock… 

Still he makes it to the party. A real trouper & a credit to us all…
