Our next Open Decks will be Techno themed special, featuring a chat & production demo with Newcastle's resident kings of techno - CIRCO.

Between 7pm - 8pm downstairs we'll be hosting an interview with the duo about all things, music, DJ'ing production and more, with the chance to ask your burning questions to the duo. They'll also be doing a production demo for any new producers looking for tips, tricks and advice.

The normal drop in, plug and play Open Decks will be on upstairs throughout from 7pm - 10pm, downstairs showcase slots will follow the Q&A with CIRCO who will be sticking around to check out new talent as well as being joined by people from BLITZ and other techno nights in the city.

We'll be doing this monthly from November onwards so will be plenty of opportunities in the future if you are unsuccessful. Please note 50% of slots will be kept for non male & other protected groups, if they are not filled then they will be opened up to all applicants.

Representatives from World HQ & Generator will be in attendance at every event. We will also be inviting local promoters to drop in and hopefully catch their next resident playing.

Please note:

All DJ's must bring their own headphones and needles if you're planning to use vinyl. Slots will be 20 minutes long.

We will have CDJ & vinyl set ups on both floors of World HQ with the mixer being either a Pioneer DJM or Allen & Heath.
