Well Irie are proud to announce our first event at World HQ!

Sinai Soundsystem is the rig at the top of the scene right now. Last year saw them take over the reigns from the mighty Mungo’s Hifi for the SubDub stage at Outlook Festival, and they did not disappoint. They focus on technological advancements, whilst also maintaining traditional soundsystem values to create a precise sound with plenty of bassweight. We’re bringing in 6 bins of Sinai, so the ceiling may come down!

Vixen and Tom run the Glasgow Dub night Walk n Skank, but their music takes them much further than this – they have just returned from playing India’s biggest Reggae festival – Goa Sunsplash.
Having played together many times, the pair have great chemistry performing as a duo, with Vixen Sound’s heavy dub complimented by Tom Spirals’ melodic voice and live improvised flute accompaniments. Joining us for a two hour set, expect Dub and uplifting Steppas inna Walk n Skank style, maybe with a bit of 140 thrown into the mix… 👀

Nectax needs absolutely no introduction – one of the current crop of promising young DnB and Jungle producers coming out of the North East right now, and having already released on Serial Killaz and Chronic (part of the mighty V Recordings) everyone in the scene knows about Nectax by now. We’ve enlisted him to play an exclusive set ranging from 140 to 170 BPM, expect him to shell down with a variety of Dubstep, Grime, Jungle and everything in between. This set is not one to miss!

PDT & Pirata are the main pushers of 140 in Newcastle right now, mashing up dances with a mix of Dubstep, Grime and Breaks.

White Label spins a mix of Roots, Dub, Steppas and Dancehall to lively up the dance, focusing on vinyl for the real bass pressure.
